Out for Lunch

THE LANTERN

THE LANTERN
A Seat at the Table
The Lantern is a group of folks gathered around the kitchen table where we explore life and spirituality. We tell the stories of our lives amidst the light of the sacred stories in order to discover our "why?" We explore who it is that created us, to whom we belong, why we matter, and what God would have us do with it all.

For me the promise of the Lantern is that I get to understand and grow spiritually while reaching out to others. - Ang

I didn't know The Lantern
would impact or change my life until one morning I found myself having a real conversation with Jesus .... I didn't realize how hurt I felt from my previous experiences, and The Lantern has offered an opportunity to heal. - Emily
The Lantern brings me together with people who are different from me in many ways but are like-minded in our mission. -Deb
Ways to Engage
Porchlights

Street Outreach
On the 2nd Saturday of the month we prepare food and clothing and take them to persons experiencing homelessness who are living on the streets of Englewood, Littleton, and Sheridan, Colorado. Contact us for more info, or just show up! We start the morning at our brick and mortar location that we share with Spirit of Hope UMC at 4300 S. Lincoln St, Englewood, CO, 80113. We prep from 10:30 - 12:00 and leave for delivery at 12:00. Come for all or part of the day!

We call our monthly table gatherings "Porchlights" because our homes are the most basic and personal places where we find and engage with the light of God. We invite you to join us on the 3rd Saturday of the month for brunch, community, and conversation. Contact us for more information.
